Download Monitor - WPForms Lock

Some files are worth asking for something in return. Maybe you want an email address, a few details about the visitor, or a record that they agreed to your terms. This extension places a WPForms form in front of a file managed by Download Monitor, so access depends on a completed submission.

You decide how much the form unlocks. It can release one file, every file tied to that form, or all gated files on the site. Forms can open in a modal pop-up, which keeps visitors on the page they were reading. After submission, the file or group of files is delivered automatically based on your settings.

Features

• WPForms before download: Require visitors to complete any WPForms form before they can reach a file, so you collect the details you need at the moment they ask for the download.
• Unlock a single file: Set a form to release only the file the visitor requested, which suits sites where each resource has its own form or its own purpose.
• Unlock files tied to a form: Release all files associated with a particular form once it is submitted, which works well when several related resources share one sign-up.
• Unlock every gated file: Choose to open all gated downloads across the site after one successful submission, so visitors fill in a form once instead of repeatedly.
• Modal pop-up forms: Show the form in a modal window so visitors can complete it without leaving the page they are on, keeping site navigation intact.
• Individual and grouped delivery: After submission, the extension delivers the intended file automatically, whether that is one item or a group of files, based on your settings.
• Control over gated files: Decide which files sit behind a form and how they are unlocked, so access rules match how you want to distribute your content.
• Works with your existing setup: The extension is built to work with your current Download Monitor and WPForms setup, so you can add form gating to files you already manage.

Best for

• Sites collecting email addresses in exchange for files
• Publishers sharing guides, reports or resource bundles
• Download Monitor users who already build forms in WPForms
