Download Monitor Page Addon

Plain download links tell visitors very little. Someone who lands on a bare link has no context about the file, its versions or what else you offer. This addon fills that gap by turning your downloadable files into organized pages with detail views, so people can browse, search and understand a file before they get it.

You place the [download_page] shortcode on a page and set its parameters to control how many items appear in each section. That keeps the layout tidy whether you share documents, software or lead magnets. It is built for WordPress and does not call for advanced coding, though developers who want to adjust it can extend it to match their own workflow.

Features

• Dedicated download pages: The [download_page] shortcode creates self-contained pages for your files, giving visitors a structured place to browse your downloadable resources instead of scattered direct links.
• Adjustable display counts: Shortcode parameters let you set how many featured downloads, categories, tags and search results show up, so each page stays clean and fits your site.
• Featured only option: The downloads listing can be limited to featured items, which is handy when you want a page to highlight only the files you choose to promote.
• Categories and tags lists: Downloads appear in sortable, paginated lists organized by tags and hierarchical categories, helping visitors narrow down a large collection quickly.
• Detailed download information: Each resource can show multiple versions, descriptions, thumbnails, custom fields and direct download links, giving visitors the context they need about a file.
• Built-in search box: A search box on the page lets visitors filter across your downloads and find a specific file without scrolling through every listing.
• Extendable by developers: If you can code, you can extend or customize the addon to match your brand and workflow, while non-coders can use the shortcode as it is.
