Download Monitor Email Notification

Site owners who share files often have no quick way to see when someone grabs one. Checking reports by hand takes time, and a single download can go unnoticed. This extension solves that by emailing you as the download happens, so file activity reaches your inbox without any extra checking.

You can receive alerts for every download or limit them to specific files, which keeps your inbox manageable. Messages can go to several email addresses, so a whole team sees the same activity. The extension also works with Download Monitor's lock extensions, which helps when visitors submit details such as an email address before downloading. It suits small sites and large download libraries alike.

Features

• Instant email alerts: An email arrives each time a visitor downloads a file, so you learn about file activity as it happens instead of waiting to review reports.
• Alerts for specific files: Choose to be notified only for particular downloads. This cuts inbox clutter and lets you focus on the files you care about most.
• Notifications for all downloads: If you prefer full coverage, you can receive an alert for every download on your site rather than a selected few.
• Multiple email recipients: Send each notification to several email addresses at once, so everyone on your team sees the same download activity wherever they work.
• Works with lock extensions: The plugin connects with Download Monitor's lock extensions, so you can follow up promptly when users enter information such as an email address.
• Simple configuration: Notifications are set up through a straightforward interface, so site administrators can configure alerts without complicated technical steps.
• Fits sites of any size: It works for a small site with a few files as well as a large platform with an extensive library of digital content.
