Download Monitor - Contact Form 7

Many sites hand out files such as guides, reports or software with no idea who is taking them. This extension adds a simple checkpoint. A visitor fills in a Contact Form 7 form, and once it is submitted, access to the file is granted according to the settings you have configured. That makes it a practical way to gather contact details or confirm that visitors have met your conditions before they receive a digital asset.

You decide how far each submission reaches. A completed form can unlock one file, every file linked to that form, or all gated files across the site. The form can also appear as a modal pop-up, so visitors stay on the page they were reading. Setup happens inside the Download Monitor interface, and the plugin works with multiple forms and files, which lets you use different gating approaches for different content.

Features

• Form-based download gating: Visitors must complete a Contact Form 7 form before they can get a file, so access depends on a submission rather than a plain link.
• Modal pop-up form display: Show the Contact Form 7 form in a modal pop-up so visitors can fill it in without leaving the page they are on.
• Unlock a single file: Set a form submission to open access to just one file, which suits a lone resource that needs its own form.
• Unlock all files for a form: Let one completed form open every file connected to it, so related downloads can share the same gate.
• Unlock all gated files globally: Choose a setting where a single form submission grants access to every gated file on the site.
• Configurable access rules: Download access follows the settings you configure after a form is submitted, so content reaches visitors who meet your conditions.
• Multiple forms and files: Use several forms and files on one website, which lets you set up different gating for different campaigns or content types.
• Admin form selection: Pick the Contact Form 7 form to use from within the Download Monitor admin interface, keeping configuration in one place.
