Overview
Form entries often sit in the admin area where only you can read them. GravitySearch moves that data to the front end so visitors can look through it. It works with the Gravity Forms entries you already have, so there is no need to rebuild or copy your data into another system.
You build a search form that fits your site, add conditional filters, and choose how results appear: as lists, tables or grids. Shortcodes place the search form and results on any page. Visibility can follow user roles and permissions, which helps when some entries should stay private. It suits directories, databases, member listings and customer portals.
Features
- Advanced conditional filtering: Visitors can narrow results with multiple conditional filters, which makes it easier to find the exact entries they want inside a large set of submissions.
- Custom search forms: Build search interfaces that match your site's needs and branding, so the search experience looks like a natural part of your pages.
- Flexible result layouts: Show entries as lists, tables or grids, depending on the kind of content you publish and the style of your site.
- Works with existing entries: GravitySearch reads your current Gravity Forms entries directly, so you can reuse data you have already collected without extra configuration.
- Real-time search feedback: Results appear as users type, so visitors see matches right away and can adjust their search without waiting for a page reload.
- Shortcode embedding: Place search forms and results anywhere on your site with simple shortcodes, including on regular pages and posts.
- Custom result sorting: Control how entries are ordered so the most relevant information appears first when visitors browse the results.
- Role-based entry visibility: Decide which entries people can see based on user roles and permissions, which helps protect sensitive information.
Best for
- Directory and database sites built on Gravity Forms
- Sites that publish member listings from form entries
- Customer portals that need role-based entry access
