Overview
Managing form data often means jumping between the public site and the WordPress dashboard. That slows down teams and gets awkward for people who do not work in the admin area. GravityEdit moves the editing to the front end, where entries are already on display in GravityView Views. Users can fix a typo, update a record or correct a submission right there.
The plugin works with GravityView, so the data you display can also be edited in place. You decide which form fields can be changed and who is allowed to edit entries. It suits customer feedback lists, event registrations and other form-based records. Inline editing also covers fields such as Entry Tags and Dynamic Lookup, and the interface works on mobile and tablet screens.
Features
- Front-end entry editing: Update Gravity Forms entries straight from your website's front-end views, so routine changes do not require a trip to the WordPress dashboard.
- Works with GravityView: GravityEdit fits into your existing GravityView Views, so the entries you display are the same ones you can edit.
- Permission controls: Define who can edit entries, so team members or clients get the access they need while the data stays protected from unwanted changes.
- Choose editable fields: Select which form fields can be edited, so the editing interface matches what your users actually need to change.
- Inline editing modes: Edit values inline, including an In-Place mode and editing of a whole column, so changes happen where the data appears.
- Entry Tags support: Entry Tags fields can be edited inline in GravityView Views, with a tag picker for choosing and saving tags.
- Dynamic Lookup field editing: Dynamic Lookup fields can be edited inline, including fields that use checkboxes, so linked records can be updated from the view.
- Responsive editing interface: The editing interface is designed for mobile and tablet as well as desktop, so entries can be updated on whichever device is at hand.
