Overview

Gravity Forms can collect a lot of entries, and showing all of them in one list rarely helps anyone. This extension lets you narrow a view down to the entries that matter. You can combine several fields and conditions, so a view shows only what a team, a client or a visitor needs to see.

The filter interface is designed for people who do not write code. Visitors can also filter entries on the page without a reload, using dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons or search boxes. It works with common Gravity Forms fields such as text, dates and choices, and it fits sites that use entry lists as reports, directories or internal workflows.

Features

  • Filter rules without code: Build filters with intuitive controls and logic rules in the View settings, so non-technical users can set up the entry conditions they need.
  • Multiple filter criteria: Combine several fields and conditions in one view to display precisely the entries that matter to your audience or team.
  • Live filtering for visitors: Let site visitors filter entries on the page without a reload, which keeps a long list easy to work through.
  • Several filter input types: Offer dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons and search boxes, giving users familiar ways to interact with the data.
  • Conditional logic for filters: Show or hide filters based on what a user has already selected, so the filter form stays short and relevant.
  • Customizable filter layouts: Design the filter form so it fits the look of your website instead of sitting in the page as a separate block.
  • Works with Gravity Forms fields: Filter on text, dropdown, checkbox and date fields, plus Product, Option and Shipping choices and fields that store a user, post or entry ID.
  • Accessible filter settings: The Advanced Filter section is announced by screen readers as a named group with its description, and date filters follow the site language.

Best for

  • Site owners publishing Gravity Forms entries in lists
  • Agencies building reports and directories for clients
  • Teams managing large volumes of form submissions

Changelog

Version 4.10.0 — 22 October 2026

  • Improved Filter dropdowns that search users, entries, or posts now load their choices as soon as they are opened.
  • Fixed Filters using the {get} merge tag found no entries or the wrong ones when the value in the page address contained &, +, or % (such as "Research & Development"), and changed other {get} merge tags on the page.
  • Fixed "Has any of", "has all of", and "has none of" filters on Dynamic Lookup fields with "Allow multiple selections" and the enhanced user interface worked only for entries with a single selection.
  • Fixed "Any form field" filters, and filters on fields that store a user, post, or entry ID, did not match user names or post titles containing "&", such as "Smith & Jones".
  • Fixed Filters on GP Nested Forms fields and other fields that store several users, posts, or entries (such as Dynamic Lookup and Populate Anything fields) were slow on forms with a few hundred entries.
  • Fixed Merge tags with the `form:` modifier could cause an error when another plugin processed them without a form.
  • Fixed Filters using the `form:` merge tag modifier could compare against the wrong value when the joined form's value looked like a merge tag.
  • Fixed Filter dropdowns could open behind the WordPress admin bar, pressing Enter on a selected choice cleared it, and pressing Enter on the clear button did nothing.
  • Fixed When WordPress was set to a language other than English, operators with an apostrophe showed `'` (such as "n'est pas" in French).
  • Fixed Issues with date filters: When WordPress was set to a language other than English, month names, weekdays, and labels appeared in English; Once a date was picked, the weekday names in the calendar were off by one day in time zones west of UTC (such as the US), and screen readers announced the calendar as "Event".
