Overview

Form entries are useful, but a long list of submissions is hard to read. GravityCharts takes the data collected through Gravity Forms and draws it as charts, so trends and totals are easier to see at a glance. It works with your existing forms, so there is no need to enter numbers by hand.

You pick a chart type, adjust the colors, labels and legends to match your branding, and place the chart on a page or post with a shortcode. Charts can be filtered by criteria or date range, and they reflect new submissions as they arrive. It also works with GravityView for displaying and managing entries.

Features

  • Pulls data from Gravity Forms: Charts are built from your Gravity Forms entries automatically, which removes manual data entry and the errors that come with copying numbers between tools.
  • Many chart types: Choose bar, pie, line, donut, area or radar charts, and more, so each dataset is shown in the format that fits it best.
  • Customizable visual settings: Adjust colors, labels, legends and styles so charts match your branding and stay clear for the people reading them.
  • Interactive charts: Tooltips, hover effects and clickable elements let visitors explore the figures behind a chart instead of looking at a static image.
  • Responsive design: Charts are designed to display and work on desktops, tablets and smartphones, so the same chart reads well on any screen.
  • Real-time updates: New form submissions show up in your charts right away, which keeps the visualizations in step with the data you collect.
  • Shortcode embedding: Add a chart to any page or post with a simple shortcode, with no custom code or template editing needed.
  • Filtering and export: Limit charts to specific criteria or date ranges, then download them as images or PDFs, or share them for reports and collaboration.

Best for

  • Gravity Forms users who want visual reports
  • Marketers and educators presenting survey or form results
  • Agencies building data dashboards with GravityView

Changelog

Version 1.23.0 — 22 October 2026

  • Improved Improved security for charts with "Enable security for this chart" turned on; existing embeds keep working in most places, but if a secured chart stops showing, copy its new secret from the chart list and update the shortcode, block, or merge tag.
  • Improved Enhanced conditional logic: Conditions on fields that store a user, post, or entry ID (such as Dynamic Lookup, Populate Anything, or Nested Forms fields) now match the name the field displays, and only records the visitor is allowed to see ("is" and "is not" with a number still compare the stored ID).
  • Improved Condition dropdowns that search users, entries, or posts now load their choices only when they are opened.
  • Improved Conditions on Entry Date, Date Updated, or Payment Date with a non-date value (such as a merge tag for a text field) caused a fatal error on PHP 8.
  • Improved "Is", "is not", "in", and "not in" conditions on Product, Option, or Shipping field choices matched no entries.
  • Improved Conditions using the `{get}` merge tag found no entries or the wrong ones when the value in the page address contained `&`, `+`, or `%`.
  • Improved "Has any of", "has all of", and "has none of" conditions on Dynamic Lookup fields with "Allow multiple selections" and the enhanced user interface worked only for entries with a single selection.
  • Improved Several issues with "Any form field" conditions, such as "does not contain" keeping entries that contained the value.
  • Improved Several issues with the condition builder and date pickers, including on sites in languages other than English.
  • Improved Several issues with condition dropdowns.
  • Security Improved security for charts with "Enable security for this chart" turned on; existing embeds keep working in most places, but if a secured chart stops showing, copy its new secret from the chart list and update the shortcode, block, or merge tag.
  • Fixed On Gravity Forms 3.1.3 or newer, charts grouped by a Radio Buttons or Checkboxes field left out entries whose choice contains "&", such as "Salt & Pepper".
  • Fixed Charts of Multi Select fields that store a comma-separated list, and of Dynamic Lookup fields that allow multiple selections, counted no entries.
  • Fixed Pages with a chart could show an error when another plugin processed merge tags without a form.
  • Fixed The message shown when a form has no charts yet was squeezed into a narrow column.
  • New Added `gk/gravitycharts/secret/allow-legacy` filter to choose whether a chart still accepts its secret from before this update. Return `true` to accept it everywhere, or `false` to require the new secret everywhere.
  • Improved Updated Foundation to version 1.38.0.
