Gravity Forms CF7 Migrator Add-On

Changing form plugins on an established site usually means redoing every contact, enquiry and signup form by hand. This add-on handles that chore. It looks through your WordPress site for Contact Form 7 forms, pulls each one into Gravity Forms and rebuilds the fields, so you can carry on working in the new plugin with your existing forms in place.

A manual rebuild tends to introduce small slips in field order, labels and required settings, and those slips can cause odd behavior later. Running one migration across all your forms applies the same treatment to each. After import, every form is a native Gravity Forms form, so conditional logic, feeds, payment integrations and other add-ons can be used with it. The whole process runs from your WordPress dashboard.

Features

• Automatic site scan: The add-on locates the Contact Form 7 forms already on your site, so you do not need to make a list of them before you begin.
• Direct import: Forms are brought straight into Gravity Forms, which removes the need to recreate each one by hand from scratch.
• Field recreation: The fields of each form are rebuilt so the imported version reflects the original Contact Form 7 form.
• Multiple forms at once: It covers the forms across your whole site instead of making you move them over one at a time.
• Consistent migration: The same import is applied to every form, avoiding the differences that usually creep in when forms are rebuilt manually.
• Native Gravity Forms results: Imported forms behave like any other Gravity Forms form, which opens up feeds, integrations and the wider range of add-ons.
• Warning for repeated field names: When one Contact Form 7 field name is used by more than one tag, an import warning appears, since each occurrence becomes a separate field.
• Runs in the WordPress admin: You carry out the migration in your own dashboard, with no external tools needed.
