Overview
Sites that accept guest posts, event submissions or directory listings often end up with someone pasting entries into the editor one at a time. This add-on removes that step. A visitor fills out a form, and the entry becomes a post, a page or an entry in any custom post type registered on your site.
You set up the rules inside Gravity Forms, with no coding. Merge tags fill post titles and content from form fields, custom fields and taxonomies can be mapped, and uploaded files go into the Media Library. Conditional logic decides when a submission creates a post, so you keep control over what gets published and when.
Features
- Any post type supported: Create standard posts, pages or any custom post type registered on your WordPress site from a single form submission.
- Taxonomy assignment: Assign categories, tags or custom taxonomies to each new post automatically, so submitted content lands in the right place on your site.
- Merge tags in templates: Use merge tags to fill post titles and content with values from your form fields, which lets you build a post template that adapts to each entry.
- Custom field mapping: Map form data to existing or new custom fields so metadata is stored with the post and ready for display or further content management.
- Uploads go to Media Library: Files submitted through the form are added to the WordPress Media Library and linked to the post that the submission creates.
- Conditional logic control: Gravity Forms conditional logic lets you decide exactly when and how a submission generates a post, which suits review-based publishing workflows.
- Post editing column in feeds: The feeds list page includes a Post Editing column, and a filter hook lets developers modify the meta keys shown on the feed.
- Setup inside Gravity Forms: Post creation rules are configured in the familiar Gravity Forms interface, so you can set up and adjust them without writing code.
Best for
