BuddyPress Member Types Pro

A BuddyPress community often has different kinds of people in it, such as students and teachers or employees and employers. Without a way to tell them apart, everyone sees the same forms, the same profiles and the same directory. BuddyPress Member Types Pro adds that missing layer. You define the member types, and members can hold one type or several, depending on how your site is organized.

Once types exist, the plugin acts on them. It can assign or change WordPress roles, add members to BuddyPress groups, and link member types to plans from WooCommerce Memberships or Paid Memberships Pro. Shortcodes show or hide content by type, and redirects send each type to a relevant page after login or account activation. Everything is managed under Users > Member Types.

• Member type redirects: Set specific redirects for login and for after account activation, guiding each type of member to a relevant section of the site.
