BuddyPress Block Users

Open communities sometimes bring unwanted contact: repeated friend requests, private messages from people a member would rather avoid, or mentions in public feeds. BuddyPress Block Users lets members handle this themselves by blocking another user, so admins do not have to step into every dispute.

When a block is in place, the plugin applies a set of restrictions between the two users. You choose which roles can block and which roles are protected from being blocked. Admins can also receive optional alerts when blocks happen. Developers can reach the blocking features through REST API endpoints for custom workflows or apps.
