Recent Profile Visitors

Members of a social network often wonder who is looking at their profile. Recent Profile Visitors answers that by recording visits and listing the most recent visitors. It also ranks the most popular users over time periods you choose, such as the last 7 days or 30 days, which gives your community a simple way to spot active members and find new people to connect with.

Control sits with both administrators and members. Admins can turn recording and display on or off by user role or subscription status. Members can choose whether their own visits are recorded, and admins can override that setting if needed. Visitor data can appear through widgets, shortcodes, a profile tab or the members directory, so you can place it wherever it fits your BuddyPress design.

Features

• Recent visitor list: The plugin records profile visits and shows each member who has viewed their profile, giving people a reason to check back and start conversations.
• Popular users display: Show the most popular users on your BuddyPress site over time periods you set, for example the last 7 days or the last 30 days.
• Role-based visibility controls: Admins can enable or disable recording and display of visits by user role or subscription status, which helps match visitor data to your privacy and access rules.
• Slider or list widget: A widget presents the most visited users either as a slider or as a list, so you can place it in any widget area of your site.
• Flexible shortcodes: Shortcodes list recent visitors and popular users anywhere on your site, letting you fit the output into your own page layouts and designs.
• Profile tab and directory: Recent visitor information can appear as a dedicated tab on member profiles and within the members directory, making it easy to find.
• Member privacy toggle: Members can switch recording of their own profile visits on or off. Administrators keep the ability to override that choice when necessary.
• Notifications and preferences: Members get notifications and preference settings to manage how they view information about their profile visitors.
