BuddyPress Avatar Moderator

Open communities attract all kinds of profile pictures, and some of them do not belong on your site. BuddyPress Avatar Moderator puts a review step between the upload and the public profile. You choose whether to moderate user photos, group photos, or both, and each new avatar waits for a decision before it goes live.

Moderation happens from dedicated dashboards in the WordPress admin, where you can approve or reject an image with one click. When uploads pile up, bulk actions let you handle many at once. Notifications go out by email or BuddyPress, and you can edit the message text. It suits company intranets, educational sites, dating platforms and local community portals.

Features

• Choose what to moderate: Moderate BuddyPress user profile photos, group photos, or both. You decide which avatars need approval before they appear on the site.
• Dashboards in WordPress admin: Separate screens for user and group avatar moderation sit inside the WordPress admin, so you can review images and act on them without leaving your usual workspace.
• One-click approve or reject: Each pending avatar can be approved or rejected with a single click, which keeps routine review quick and simple.
• Bulk approval and rejection: Select several avatar uploads and approve or reject them together. This helps on busy communities where many members change their pictures.
• Customizable notification messages: Notify site admins, group admins and users by email or BuddyPress notifications, and edit the content of each message to match your community's tone.
• Per-action notification settings: Turn email and local BuddyPress notifications on or off individually for every moderation action, so alerts match how your team works.
• Works with BuddyPress extensions: The plugin works with other BuddyPress extensions, including the BuddyPress Force Profile Photo plugin, so it can sit alongside tools you already use.
