BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro

A new member who joins a social network often sees an empty friends list and no one to talk to. BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro addresses that by connecting each new user to people you choose in advance. Admins build lists of users and set whether each list creates friendships, followers or following relationships. The connections are made at registration, so members start with a populated network.

The plugin gives you control over who gets connected to whom. A global list applies to every new member, while a conditional list targets members by profile field, user role or member type. A Connection Creator tool lets admins link two users by hand, and bulk tools apply relationships to existing members. It works with BuddyPress and BuddyBoss, and it respects whether the friendship and follow components are available on your site.

Features

• Automatic friends and followers: New users are added as friends, followers or following members based on criteria the admin defines, so each person starts with connections already in place.
• Multiple custom lists: Create as many user lists as you need, each set as a friendship, follower or following list, to match different community needs.
• Global lists: A global list connects every new member to the same chosen users, which suits communities that want one welcoming group for everyone.
• Conditional lists: Set conditions based on profile fields, user roles or member types so only matching new members are connected to a given list.
• Connection Creator tool: Manually link any two users as friends or followers. Admins keep direct control over social connections when automation alone does not cover a case.
• Bulk relationship management: Create or synchronize friendships and following relationships across existing users, so the wider community network stays consistently connected.
• Group-based automation: Connections can be added or removed when users join a group, leave it or are removed from it, keeping relationships current.
• BuddyPress and BuddyBoss support: Works with both platforms and respects whether the friendship and follow components are available on your site. Lists and settings are managed from the admin dashboard.
