Newsletter - Locked Content

Many sites have articles or resources worth sharing but no good reason for a visitor to join the mailing list. This add-on gives them one. You choose what to restrict, and visitors who are not subscribed see a message or a subscription form in its place. Subscribers who have confirmed their signup see the full content.

It works with the Newsletter plugin and uses a simple shortcode to lock any part of a post. You can also lock complete posts by tag or category, and in that case only the title and a subscription prompt appear. A cookie remembers confirmed subscribers on later visits. Users who can publish, such as administrators, editors and authors, always see everything, which makes previewing easy.
