Overview

Modern Events Calendar gives you the events, and MEC Liquid Layouts changes how they look. The add-on supplies over 20 liquid view skins with fluid layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops. You pick a skin with one click, so there is no complicated configuration between you and a redesigned calendar.

The layouts cover many ways of presenting events, from full calendar and weekly views to lists, grids, sliders, carousels and maps. Filtering has an improved interface, single event widgets get a more modern look, and the reservation interface is more polished. It suits professional event sites, conference platforms and community calendars.

Features

  • Over 20 liquid view skins: A library of more than 20 responsive skins lets you restyle your event calendar quickly, and each one is applied with a single click.
  • Many calendar display modes: Show events as a full calendar, weekly, daily, list, grid, slider, carousel or map view. List and grid layouts come in several sizes.
  • Improved filtering interface: Visitors can narrow down events with filtering options that have a cleaner design and a smoother flow, including a styled search form and date filters.
  • Modern single event widgets: Each event gets a more stylish presentation through updated single event widgets, which makes individual event pages easier to read.
  • Responsive and mobile ready: Layouts work on mobile phones, tablets and desktops, so event listings stay readable and navigable on any screen size.
  • Refined reservation interface: The booking interface has a more stylish, optimized look, which helps both organizers and attendees handle event registration.
  • Simple setup: Skins need no special configuration. You choose a liquid view skin and the calendar updates, which keeps setup time short.
  • Works with MEC Pro and Lite: The add-on supports both the Pro and Lite versions of Modern Events Calendar, so it fits different kinds of event sites.
