MEC Advanced Speaker

Event sites with guest speakers often need more than a name in an event listing. Visitors want to read a biography, see a photo, find social links and learn which sessions a person is part of. MEC Advanced Speaker adds that layer to Modern Events Calendar, giving every speaker a profile page that presents these details in an organized way.

You place speakers on your site with shortcodes, so a full list, a grid or a featured section can sit on any page you choose. Each speaker can be linked to ongoing or upcoming events, which helps visitors move from a person to the sessions they are involved in. It suits conferences, webinars, workshops and other event sites built on the calendar.

Features

• Dedicated single speaker pages: Each speaker gets an individual page with a biography, photo, social links and related events, so visitors can read about the person behind a session.
• Optional shortcodes: Embed speaker lists, grids or featured sections anywhere on your website with shortcodes, and fit the display to the design of each page.
• Featured speaker selection: Mark chosen speakers as featured with a single click, so keynote guests or headline names stand out from the rest of the lineup.
• List view: Show all speakers in a clean, organized list that gives visitors quick navigation and a clear overview of who is taking part.
• Grid view option: Present speakers in a grid layout when you want a more visual arrangement, with photos arranged for easy browsing.
• Ongoing events display: Current and upcoming events tied to a speaker appear within speaker lists or pages, so visitors see what that person is involved in.
• Speaker and event connections: Link speakers to their events so visitors can find sessions in context, moving between a speaker profile and the calendar entries.
• Multiple values in shortcode options: Shortcode options accept more than one input, and selections use a Select2 field, which makes picking speakers or settings easier.
