Overview
Files uploaded through a form usually stay apart from the rest of a site's media. Gravity Perks Media Library fixes that by adding each uploaded image, document or other file to the WordPress Media Library automatically. You switch it on with a toggle in the File Upload field settings of Gravity Forms, so setup stays inside a screen you already know.
Once files are in the library, they can be used elsewhere. The plugin connects uploads to Advanced Custom Fields Image or File fields, supports GravityView with medium-sized thumbnails, and resizes images on upload. It handles single and multi-file uploads, and it works alongside tools such as Gravity Forms Stripe Add-On, WooCommerce and Gravity Flow. Developers can adjust behavior with PHP filters.
Features
- Automatic Media Library import: Files uploaded through Gravity Forms are added to the WordPress Media Library, so submitted images, documents and other media are stored with your existing assets.
- Simple toggle setup: Turn on the import with a toggle in the Gravity Forms File Upload field settings. The option lives inside the native interface, so no separate settings screen is needed.
- Single and multi-file uploads: Visitors can submit several files in one form, and the plugin handles each of them, whether a form collects one file or many.
- Advanced Custom Fields integration: Map uploaded files to ACF Image or File custom fields, which helps when form submissions feed content on a dynamic site.
- Thumbnail previews and merge tags: Auto-generated image merge tags let you display thumbnails at a fitting size, which keeps the front-end presentation of uploaded images tidy.
- GravityView compatibility: Uploaded files appear in GravityView as medium-sized thumbnails, a practical fit for directories and listings built from form entries.
- Automatic image resizing: Images are resized when they are uploaded, so the versions served on your site are sized appropriately for display.
- Featured image and gallery mapping: Multi-file uploads can set a featured image or fill ACF gallery fields, and PHP filters let developers adjust image sizes, ACF field types and deletion behavior.
