Overview
Long forms lose people. A visitor navigates away by accident or a session times out, and everything they typed is gone. Gravity Perks Advanced Save & Continue addresses this by saving entries continuously while the form is being filled in. It goes further than the default Save and Continue feature of Gravity Forms, because the user does not have to remember to save anything.
When the user comes back, the plugin repopulates the form with the last saved draft so they can pick up where they stopped. Users can also view, resume and delete several drafts, and you can place a draft list elsewhere on your site with a shortcode. It fits job applications, multi-page surveys, registrations and other detailed forms.
Features
- Automatic progress saving: Form data is saved as users enter information, so a closed tab or timed-out session does not wipe out what they have already typed.
- Auto-reload of drafts: When a user returns, the form is filled in again with their last saved draft, so they can continue without any manual step.
- Multiple draft management: Users can view their drafts, resume one, delete one or start a new draft through a simple interface.
- Draft display shortcode: A shortcode places a customizable list of drafts anywhere on your site, such as a customer dashboard or an account page.
- Configurable interface options: You can hide the default Save and Continue link or show confirmation messages inline, so the feature fits your form design.
- Multi-user draft sharing: When enabled, drafts can be shared among users, which allows teams or shared accounts to complete a form together.
- Conversational Forms compatibility: The saving functionality works with Gravity Forms Conversational Forms, so it is available across form types.
- PHP and JavaScript filters: Developer filters let you customize draft titles, markup, auto-save behavior and other details to match your project.
Best for
- Job application forms on Gravity Forms sites
- Multi-page surveys and long registration forms
- Developers building custom draft workflows
