Overview
Recognition often depends on an administrator logging in to the dashboard and handing out rewards by hand. This add-on moves that step to the frontend. Instructors, moderators or other trusted members can award points, achievements or ranks from the page where the contribution happened, so recognition reaches people while the work is fresh.
Administrators stay in control. You set up the award forms, choose which roles may give awards, and review the history of what has been awarded. Because it works alongside the core GamiPress plugin, it fits e-learning platforms, community forums, membership sites and other places where member interaction is encouraged. The forms are available as a block, a shortcode or a widget.
Features
- Awarding from the frontend: Users or specific roles can award points, achievements or ranks to others directly from the public side of the site, with no backend access needed.
- Customizable award forms: Administrators configure the award forms to match the site's branding and the criteria they want to use when people give awards.
- Role-based permissions: Control which user roles are allowed to give awards, so only the members you choose can take part in the awarding process.
- Award history management: Keep a record of the points, achievements and ranks that have been awarded, which makes it easier to follow user progress and keep the process transparent.
- Works with core GamiPress: The add-on is built to run with the core GamiPress plugin and uses its points, achievements and ranks as the things people can award.
- Achievement type selection: The achievement award form can let the giver pick an achievement type, and it can be limited to the achievement types you want to offer.
- Rank type selection: The rank award form can let the giver pick a rank type, and it can be limited to the rank types you choose to allow.
- Block, shortcode and widget: Award forms can be placed on pages using a block, a shortcode or a widget, so you can put them where members will use them.
