GamiPress - Easy Digital Downloads Points Gateway

Stores that reward users with GamiPress points often face a gap: the points are earned, but there is little to spend them on. This add-on closes that gap by turning points into a payment option at checkout in Easy Digital Downloads (EDD). Customers who collect points through your gamification activities can redeem them for digital goods, which gives those points a practical use.

The gateway sits alongside the payment methods you already offer, so shoppers choose points or another option at checkout. They can see their points balance while they pay, and you can configure how points are redeemed and applied to an order. It suits sites that already run GamiPress and EDD together and want a points-based way to pay. Developers can also customize and extend it, since it follows WordPress coding standards.

Features

• Pay in full with points: Customers can use their accumulated GamiPress points as a complete payment method for digital products in your Easy Digital Downloads store.
• Works inside EDD checkout: The gateway runs within the Easy Digital Downloads framework, so customers use a checkout process that looks familiar to them.
• Points balance at checkout: Shoppers can view their current points balance during checkout, which makes clear how much they can apply toward their purchase.
• Use alongside other gateways: Points redemption is offered next to your existing payment gateways, so customers can pick the method that suits them when they pay.
• Configurable redemption: Set up and manage how points are redeemed and applied to purchases, so the behavior can match the needs of your particular store.
• Secure point deductions: Point deductions and purchases are processed securely, which protects both the store owner and the customer during a points payment.
• Refund filter for vendors: A filter lets developers adjust vendor point deductions when a refund is processed, which helps stores with vendor setups handle returns.
• Built for customization: The add-on follows WordPress coding standards, so developers can customize and extend it to meet more advanced site requirements.
