GamiPress - Easy Digital Downloads Partial Payments

Many stores award points for activity but give customers little to spend them on. This add-on gives those points a practical use inside Easy Digital Downloads. At checkout, a customer chooses how many points to apply, and the order total drops by the matching amount. The points work like a discount, and the customer sees the reduction before paying.

You decide what a point is worth by setting the conversion rate between points and currency. The add-on works with the payment gateways Easy Digital Downloads supports and with the different points types you award in GamiPress. Store administrators can manage the partial payment settings and track point redemptions from an admin panel.

Features

• Pay part of an order with points: Customers apply GamiPress points at the Easy Digital Downloads checkout to cover part of a purchase, which lowers the total they pay in regular currency.
• Custom amount of points: Users choose how many points to apply to an order, so they control how much of the purchase is covered by points and how much by currency.
• Discount value shown at checkout: The checkout displays the exact discount value of the points being redeemed, so customers know what they are saving before they complete the order.
• Configurable conversion rates: Store owners set the point-to-currency conversion ratio, which determines the value each point carries within the store.
• Works with EDD payment gateways: The add-on runs alongside the payment methods that Easy Digital Downloads supports, so the remaining balance can be paid through your usual gateways.
• Multiple GamiPress points types: Support for the different points types you award lets you offer partial payment with the points that suit your store.
• Admin settings and redemption tracking: An admin control panel lets store administrators manage partial payment settings and keep track of how customers redeem their points.
