EventOn RSS Feed Add-on

Visitors often forget to check an event calendar. An RSS feed solves that by sending event updates to the reader app people already open each day. This add-on creates the feed from your EventON events, so anyone who subscribes sees new and changed listings without returning to your site.

You control how the feed looks and behaves. You can change the default feed address (/evofeed) to a custom slug, create feed URLs for specific event types, and sort items by published date or start time. A shortcode attribute adds a subscribe button to any calendar. The add-on requires the main EventON plugin.

Features

• Live event RSS feed: Generates an RSS feed from your EventON events, so subscribers can follow new or updated events in their RSS readers.
• Custom feed URL: Change the default feed link (/evofeed) to a slug of your choice, so the address matches your site's branding and is easy to remember.
• Subscribe button for calendars: Add an RSS feed button to any EventON calendar by using a simple shortcode attribute.
• Sort by date or start time: Choose whether events in the feed are ordered by their published date or by their start time.
• Event type feed URLs: Generate separate feed URLs for specific event types, so subscribers can follow only the categories that interest them.
• Formatted XML output: Produces XML feeds formatted to RSS reader standards, so they work with major RSS readers and aggregators.
• Hide past events: Optionally remove past events from the feed so it lists only upcoming or current events.
• Feed URL in settings: The RSS feed URL link appears in the add-on settings, so you can find and copy the address quickly.
