EventOn Filters Plus Add-on

A calendar with many entries can be hard to scan. Visitors scroll through listings that do not apply to them and may leave before they find the right event. This add-on gives them filters they can use directly on the calendar, covering event type, time of day and other categories you set up, so a long list becomes a short, relevant one.

The filters can sit in the traditional top bar or in a side panel, and a fast filter bar in the calendar header uses event type icons for quick choices. Long filter lists can show only a few terms with a See All option, and a search box inside each filter helps visitors find a specific term. A block-based shortcode generator in the admin area makes it easier to add and adjust filters in your calendar.

Features

• Filter by event type and time: Visitors can narrow events using a rich set of filter options, including event types and times of day, which makes searching a busy calendar more precise.
• Side filters display: Filters can appear at the side of the calendar instead of the traditional top bar, which uses space differently and can make navigation easier.
• Limited terms with See All: Long filter lists show only a few terms at first. Visitors can reveal the full list with a See All option, which keeps the interface tidy.
• Fast filter bar with icons: A fast filter bar in the calendar header uses event type #1 icons, so visitors can pick a category with a single quick click.
• Real-time search in filters: Each filter type includes a search bar, so visitors can find a specific term in a long list right away instead of scrolling.
• Lightbox filter interface: Filter selection can open in a pop-up style lightbox. Visitors interact with the options without the page layout becoming cluttered.
• Block-based shortcode generator: The admin area includes a block-based calendar shortcode generator, which simplifies adding and customizing filters in your EventON calendar from the backend.
