EventOn Event Reviewer Add-on

Event pages often lack proof of what past attendees thought. This add-on adds a review system to an EventON-powered site, so participants can rate an event and describe their experience right where the event is listed. Organizers of conferences, festivals, eco-tourism trips and performances can gather opinions in one place.

Review summaries and highlights appear inside EventON event cards, and a shortcode lets you place reviews elsewhere on your site. You decide whether rating data is public or kept for admin use. Email alerts tell you when a new review arrives, so you can respond or moderate. The result is a clear record of attendee feedback to guide future events.

Features

• 5-star rating system: Attendees rate an event with a 5-star score and add a written review, giving future visitors honest impressions from people who took part.
• Event card integration: Review summaries and highlights are built into EventON event cards, so ratings sit beside the event details your visitors already read.
• Customizable submission form: Add as many as 5 extra questions to the review form, such as dropdown menus, text inputs and secondary rating areas matched to your event.
• Real-time form validation: The form checks entries as people type, which helps ensure reviews are complete and accurate before they are submitted.
• Featured and highlighted reviews: Mark important phrases within reviews and choose to display featured, recent or all reviews, so the best feedback gets attention.
• Lightbox review browsing: Visitors can scroll through every review for an event in a lightbox, which makes it easy to read attendee comments in full.
• Public or admin-only ratings: Choose whether rating data shows publicly on events or stays reserved for admin use, giving you control over how feedback is presented.
• Email alerts and shortcode: Turn on email notifications for new reviews, and use the [evo_reviews] shortcode to list reviews anywhere, with rating filters to surface top feedback.
