Paid Member Subscriptions bbPress Addon

Many membership sites want a discussion area that only paying members can reach. bbPress provides the forums, and Paid Member Subscriptions handles the memberships. This addon links the two, so access to forum content follows the membership level a person holds.

You set the rules in your WordPress dashboard. You can restrict a whole forum or a single topic, and you can choose what visitors without access see. Replies can be hidden along with the topic, or the topic can stay visible while replies are concealed. A custom message can tell non-subscribers why the content is locked.

Features

• Forum-level access control: Limit individual forums to selected membership levels, so premium discussions stay available only to the members who should see them.
• Topic-level restrictions: Control access to single topics inside a forum, which lets you divide content between different subscription plans.
• Custom restriction messages: Show your own message to non-subscribers who try to open a restricted forum or topic, so they know what access they are missing.
• Flexible reply visibility: Hide a topic together with its replies, or leave the topic visible and conceal only the replies, depending on how much you want visitors to see.
• Works with bbPress: The addon plugs into the bbPress forums plugin, so your existing forum structure stays in place while access rules are added on top.
• Tied to Paid Member Subscriptions: Forum access is managed through the same subscription plugin that handles your memberships, so one set of member levels covers both.
• Setup in the dashboard: Restrictions are configured inside the WordPress dashboard and do not require technical expertise.
• Fits several plan types: The addon is compatible with the Agency, Basic and Pro plans of Paid Member Subscriptions.
