Paid Member Subscriptions Group Memberships

Selling memberships one person at a time gets awkward when the buyer is really a company, a school class, a family or a club. This add-on lets a single user, called the Group Owner, purchase a subscription on behalf of everyone in the group. Billing sits in one account instead of being spread across many individual subscriptions, which keeps the admin side simpler for you and for the buyer.

The Group Owner invites new members and removes existing ones as the group changes. Group members receive login access without handling payments themselves. When the Group Owner's subscription expires, the linked group memberships are suspended too, so access stays in step with the paid plan. It works as part of the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin and fits corporate plans, educational settings and family packages on a WordPress membership site.

Features

• Group or umbrella subscriptions: One subscription covers an entire group, so a company manager, family representative or teacher can buy membership on behalf of everyone under them.
• Centralized billing: The Group Owner handles subscription payment in one place, which removes the need to manage a separate subscription for each person in the group.
• Invite new members: The Group Owner can bring additional people into the group whenever needed, keeping membership flexible as the group grows.
• Remove members when needed: Existing members can be taken out of the group by the Group Owner, giving full control over who belongs to the shared membership.
• Synchronized expiry: When the Group Owner's subscription expires, all associated group memberships are suspended automatically, so access matches the status of the paid plan.
• Login access without payments: Group members get their own login access without paying individually, which keeps the experience simple for people joining through a group.
• Works with Paid Member Subscriptions: The add-on is compatible with the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin and is managed inside the familiar WordPress environment.
• Fits many group types: Companies, families, schools and clubs can all offer membership access collectively under one subscription plan.
