EventON - Moon Data

Some events depend on the moon. A full moon yoga session, a stargazing workshop or a night photography outing all make more sense when attendees can see the lunar phase for that date. This add-on places that information directly on the event card, so visitors do not have to look it up elsewhere.

The add-on calculates moon phases internally, with no external APIs or complicated setup. You add a moon data section to your event cards through the EventON settings and style it in the EventON Appearance settings. It requires EventON and fits calendars for wellness, astronomy, education and similar lunar-minded events.

Features

• Moon phase display: Shows phases such as New Moon, Full Moon, First Quarter and Last Quarter on each event card, tied to the date of the event.
• Illumination percentage: Gives visitors the moon's illumination percentage for the event date, adding useful detail for people planning around the lunar cycle.
• Moon age information: Displays the age of the moon alongside the phase, so attendees can see where the date falls in the lunar cycle.
• Calculated internally: Moon phases are worked out inside the add-on, so you do not need an external API or a complicated configuration.
• Added through EventON settings: Moon data sections are switched on for your event cards from the regular EventON settings, with no extra plugins needed.
• Customizable appearance: Adjust fonts, colors and styles in the EventON Appearance settings so the moon data matches your branding and your event card design.
• Built for niche calendars: Suited to yoga retreats, stargazing workshops and educational sessions where lunar phases matter to participants.
• Translation-ready text: Moon data labels can be translated, so calendars in other languages can show the lunar information in the right wording.
