Envira Gallery - NextGEN Importer

Switching gallery plugins usually means re-uploading images, retyping captions and rebuilding albums. This importer handles that work for you. It reads your NextGEN galleries and albums and brings them into Envira Gallery, along with titles, captions and tags, so your organization stays in place after the move.

The importer adds its own submenu inside the Envira Gallery menu in the WordPress dashboard. From there you pick which galleries to bring over and run the import when it suits you. Large galleries are processed in resumable batches, so an interrupted import can continue, and retrying does not fill the Media Library with duplicate images. After the move, Envira Pro features such as the Albums addon can be used on the imported content.
