Overview
A site with many galleries can quickly become hard to browse. Envira Gallery – Albums Addon gives those galleries a shared home. You build an album by dragging galleries into place, then choose the cover photo, title and image count that visitors see. Each album can also carry a description above or below it, which gives you room for context or a short story about the collection.
Albums display in a masonry layout with adjustable columns and gutters, and they adapt to different screen sizes, including phones. Every album gets its own shareable URL, so you can link straight to one collection. Albums are managed from a dedicated submenu in the Envira Dashboard, which suits photographers, bloggers and businesses that already use Envira Gallery.
Features
- Drag-and-drop album building: Assemble an album by dragging your existing galleries into it. You can group several photo or video galleries together without rebuilding anything.
- Custom album cover photos: Choose a separate cover image for each album, so visitors get a clear preview of what is inside before they open it.
- Gallery titles and image counts: Show each gallery's name and the number of images it contains, so visitors can see what a collection holds at a glance.
- Album descriptions: Add descriptive text above or below an album to give context, tell the story behind the work, or share extra details.
- Responsive masonry layouts: Albums appear in a masonry grid with adjustable columns and gutters, and the layout adapts to different screen sizes, from desktops to smartphones.
- Unique URL for every album: Each album has its own shareable address, which makes it easy to send people directly to a specific set of galleries.
- Works with Envira Gallery: The addon runs alongside the Envira Gallery plugin and builds albums from the galleries you have already created there.
- Dedicated dashboard submenu: Find all your albums under their own submenu in the Envira Dashboard, where you can open them for quick editing and organizing.
Best for
