Overview
Many forms need to take a card number now but charge the customer only after someone approves the order. Handling that by hand means switching between Stripe and your forms. This extension puts payment actions inside the workflow, so a payment can be authorized when a user submits a form and then captured or canceled as the entry moves forward.
It works with WordPress, Gravity Forms, Gravity Flow and the Gravity Forms Stripe Add-On. You add dedicated steps wherever they belong in a workflow, and each step reports its status in the entry timeline. That suits pre-orders, delayed captures, refunds and subscription changes that depend on approvals or extra information collected along the way.
Features
- Authorize payments at submission: Secure the customer's card details and authorize a payment as soon as the form is submitted, which fits pre-orders and payments that depend on a later decision.
- Capture payments later: Capture an authorized payment at a later point in the workflow, so multi-step approval or fulfillment can finish before the customer is charged.
- Cancel payment authorizations: Void an authorization when a workflow does not go ahead, which helps avoid unnecessary charges to the customer.
- Refund from the workflow: Refund payments made by the current entry, or other Stripe transactions linked to different forms, without leaving Gravity Flow.
- Manage recurring subscriptions: Create and cancel Stripe subscriptions inside your workflows, giving you control over the subscription lifecycle from within Gravity Flow.
- Four dedicated step types: Add Capture Payment, Cancel Payment, Refund Payment and Cancel Subscription steps anywhere in a workflow to match how your business handles payments.
- Payment status in the timeline: See the processing status of each payment step in the workflow entry timeline, which gives you an audit trail for every transaction.
- Multiple currencies: Accept payments in multiple currencies, including Euros and US Dollars, for sites that serve customers in more than one region.
