Overview
Workflows built from approvals, task assignments and multi-step automation can become hard to follow when they appear only as a list of steps. This extension gives administrators a graphical view of the same workflow. Steps appear on a canvas, so a team can see the sequence at a glance, discuss it with stakeholders and spot bottlenecks or redundant steps visually.
The extension works as an add-on to Gravity Flow and does not need a separate visualization tool. Administrators can switch between the standard step list and the Flowchart view whenever they like. Any step that is added, changed, deleted or reordered shows up in the chart right away, so the diagram matches the workflow it describes.
Features
- Flowchart view of workflows: Shows workflow steps as a graphical flowchart instead of the traditional step list, making complex sequences easier to read and explain to colleagues.
- Auto-layout: Generates an organized flowchart automatically, which cuts down the manual adjustments needed to get a readable diagram.
- Drag-and-drop canvas: Move steps around the canvas by dragging them, so you can arrange the workflow layout visually to suit how your team thinks about it.
- Zoom in and out: Zoom in to inspect a detailed area of a workflow, or zoom out to see the whole process in one view.
- Panning across the canvas: Grab and move the canvas to travel across large workflow diagrams without losing your place or context.
- Print support: Print complex workflows as physical copies, which is handy for meetings and for documentation.
- Switch between views: Change between the standard step list and the Flowchart view, depending on which one a user prefers for the task at hand.
- Real-time synchronization: Adding, modifying, deleting or reordering steps is reflected in the flowchart immediately, so the diagram stays accurate.
