EventOn Daily View Add-on

A calendar that lists many events at once can make it hard to find what is happening on a specific day. This add-on narrows the view to a single day. A day strip across the top marks each date with color-coded dots, and hovering over a date reveals event names. Visitors can step forward or back with arrows, or jump to another month.

The add-on works inside EventON, so you manage it from the same shortcode generator and Appearance settings. Events for upcoming days load with AJAX only when visitors navigate forward, which suits sites with many events. It fits conference schedules, festivals, community hubs and corporate event pages, and it works with EventON filtering and related add-ons such as Filters Plus, Event Slider and ActionUser.

Features

• Interactive day strip: Browse events day by day on a color-coded strip that shows up to three event dots per date, with hover tooltips that reveal event names.
• Single-day event focus: Show only the events for one selected day, so visitors can find a specific event without distraction from surrounding dates.
• AJAX loading for later days: Events for following days load dynamically when users navigate forward, which suits calendars that hold a large number of events.
• Adjustable appearance: Change fonts, colors, hover effects and backgrounds through the EventON Appearance settings panel so the calendar matches your site's branding.
• Current date focus box: A focus box shows the selected date and the total number of events, with arrows to move between days and months. You can choose whether it appears.
• Shortcode generator options: Set display options in the EventON shortcode generator, including fixed or incremented day settings, to embed the daily view where you need it.
• Month jumper: Visitors can jump straight to a specific month and then explore the daily events within it, which makes longer calendars easier to move through.
• Event filtering support: Works with the EventON filtering system, so visitors can narrow daily events by category or other criteria. Filters Plus is named as a companion add-on.
