BookingPress – Gift Card Addon

Many service businesses want to sell something a customer can give to a friend or family member. This addon adds that option to BookingPress. Customers can buy a gift card, write a personalized message for the recipient, and send it along. You set the expiry period, and you can offer several gift card amounts so buyers can pick what suits their budget.

Redemption happens inside the normal booking flow. The recipient enters the gift card code while booking an appointment, so there is no separate process to learn. On the admin side, a dashboard lets you manage gift card codes, review orders and handle notifications. It works with your existing BookingPress workflows, so it fits sites that already take bookings with the plugin.

Features

• Customizable gift cards: Buyers can create gift cards for the services you offer and attach a personalized message, so each card feels written for the person receiving it.
• Defined expiry dates: Set a specific expiration period for gift cards. This gives you control over how long a card stays valid and when outstanding cards should be used.
• Redeem during booking: Recipients apply their gift card code while booking an appointment, so using the card is part of the same booking steps customers already know.
• Gift card dashboard: Manage gift card codes, monitor usage and track orders from one central admin screen, instead of piecing the details together elsewhere.
• Automated email notifications: Send alerts to customers and recipients about gift card purchases, balances and expiry reminders, so both sides stay informed without manual messages.
• Multiple gift card amounts: Offer more than one gift card amount so customers with different budgets can find an option that suits what they want to give.
• Unique secure codes: Each gift card gets a unique generated code, which helps protect transactions and prevent unauthorized use of a card.
• Real-time balance tracking: Customers and admins can view the remaining balance on a gift card at any time, which keeps partial use clear and easy to follow.
