Envira Gallery - Search Addon

Large galleries are hard to browse. When a gallery holds hundreds of images, visitors may scroll for a long time or give up before they find the photo they came for. This addon places a search function on the gallery itself, so people can look for a specific image directly on the page where they already are.

Visitors search with keywords or with tags tied to the images, and matching images appear as they type. Filters let you narrow results by categories, tags or metadata. The addon works with Envira Gallery and is meant to keep your existing design and layout in place. It also works on smartphones and tablets, and its settings panel needs no technical skills.

Features

• Frontend image search: Visitors can search for specific images from the gallery on your website, which saves them from scrolling through an entire collection to find one photo.
• Keyword-based searching: People can search using keywords or tags associated with images, so results match the terms you have used to describe your visual content.
• Instant search results: Matching images appear dynamically as users type, giving immediate feedback without sending visitors away from the gallery page.
• Customizable search filters: Filter by categories, tags or metadata to help visitors reach the right images more precisely, whatever the theme of the gallery.
• Works with Envira Gallery: The addon is built for Envira Gallery and is designed to keep your site's current design and layout intact once search is added.
• Responsive and mobile friendly: Search is designed to be usable on all devices, including smartphones and tablets, so visitors can look up images wherever they browse.
• Suited to large galleries: The addon handles search queries in galleries with hundreds or thousands of images, which is where finding a single picture is hardest.
• Simple settings panel: A user-friendly settings panel lets you configure and customize search without technical expertise. Search files also stay off galleries that do not have search enabled.
