GamiPress - Notifications

Gamification works best when people see their progress as it happens. GamiPress – Notifications is an add-on for the GamiPress plugin that shows a message the moment a user earns an achievement, completes a step, gets a points award or deduction, or attains a rank. Users get immediate feedback without checking a profile page or waiting for an email.

Administrators decide what each notification says, how it looks, where it sits on the screen and how long it stays visible. Optional sound effects can draw attention to a new message, and click-to-hide lets users dismiss it when they want. The add-on covers achievements, ranks, points and steps, and it is built to respond well on mobile devices.

Features

• Real-time user alerts: Users are told right away when they reach a milestone or when their points change, so feedback arrives while they are still active on the page.
• Editable notification content: Administrators write the notification messages themselves, so the wording can match the tone and style of the site.
• Adjustable look and position: The appearance and screen placement of notifications can be changed so they fit the layout of the site.
• Display duration control: Set how long each notification stays on screen, balancing visibility against the user's focus on the page.
• Optional sound effects: Turn on audio cues that accompany notifications, giving users a clear signal when they earn something new.
• Click-to-hide option: Users can dismiss a notification with a click, which keeps the interface tidy and respects how they prefer to browse.
• Points award and deduction alerts: Notifications cover both points added and points removed, so users can see every change to their balance.
• Works with GamiPress types: Supports achievements, ranks, points and steps, so one add-on covers the main parts of a GamiPress setup.
