GamiPress - BuddyPress Notifications

Communities that use GamiPress for rewards often want members to see their progress where they already spend time. This add-on connects the two plugins so that gamification events appear as BuddyPress notifications. A member who earns an achievement or moves up a rank gets told right away, inside the social network itself.

Administrators control what each message says. Notification patterns accept dynamic tags, so a message can include the member's name or details about the achievement. Patterns are managed from an admin interface, which means no coding is needed. The add-on works with existing GamiPress and BuddyPress setups, and it suits any community that already tracks points, steps and ranks.

Features

• Real-time member notifications: Members are told as soon as something happens, so their achievements, points changes, completed steps and rank progress show up in BuddyPress without waiting.
• Achievement notifications: A notification goes out when a member earns an achievement, giving the community a visible way to recognize accomplishments inside the BuddyPress environment.
• Step completion alerts: Members receive a notification when they complete a step toward an achievement, which helps them follow their progress through multi-part goals.
• Points award and deduction notices: Notifications cover both points awards and points deductions, so members always know when their balance has changed.
• Rank attainment updates: When a member reaches a new rank, a notification announces it, making rank progression visible to the person who earned it.
• Dynamic tags for messages: Administrators can use dynamic tags to personalize notification text, such as adding the member's name or achievement details to each message.
• Editable notification patterns: Notification patterns can be customized from an admin interface, so site owners can adjust the wording of messages without writing code.
• Works with GamiPress and BuddyPress: The add-on is built to fit existing GamiPress and BuddyPress setups, linking the gamification features of one with the social features of the other.
