Cascade – Personal vCard WordPress Theme

A personal site often needs to do a few simple things: introduce you, show your work and tell people how to reach you. Cascade is built around that idea. Each section of your vCard sits in its own vertical menu tab, so visitors move between your resume, portfolio and contact page without hunting for links. You can add as many tabs as your content needs.

You shape the look without writing code. Pick a dark or light skin, choose tab colors and icons, and set backgrounds for the tabs or the pages. A working contact form, a Google Map shortcode and social icons keep visitors connected with you. The layout is responsive and retina ready, and the theme is compatible with WPML for multilingual sites.

Features

• Vertical tab navigation: Sections of your vCard are placed in vertical menu tabs powered by jQuery, with smooth transitions, so visitors can move through your CV, portfolio and contact details easily.
• Dark and light skins: Two skins let you match the theme to your personal style or branding, whether you prefer a bright page or a darker, moodier look.
• Unlimited tabs: Add as many tabs as your content requires, so a long résumé, several portfolio sections and extra pages can all stay organized.
• Colors, icons and backgrounds: Choose from 8 predefined tab colors, 10 tab icons and 20 page backgrounds, or set a custom background image for individual tabs.
• Built-in lightbox gallery: Show portfolio images in a lightbox gallery so visitors can view your work without leaving the page they are on.
• Contact form and map: A working contact form lets clients or employers write to you, and a Google Map shortcode displays your location if you have an office.
• Social icons and tweets widget: Link your profiles with 10 predefined social icons, and use the Latest Tweets widget to show recent activity from your account.
• Responsive and WPML compatible: The layout is responsive and retina ready for all screen sizes, and WPML compatibility supports sites that offer content in more than one language.
