wpForo - SureMembers Integration

Forums on a membership site usually need different rules for different people. Paid members may get private discussion spaces, while other visitors see only the open areas. This addon handles that by tying SureMembers Access Groups to the wpForo permissions system, so access follows a member's plan instead of being set user by user.

You assign access rights in wpForo's forum editing screen. Each forum, category and sub-forum can have its own rules, and each Access Group can get a different level of access. Access Groups take precedence over wpForo's default usergroup permissions, so members in a group keep the forum rights you gave them. It suits subscription sites, educational platforms and other private communities.

Features

• Members-only forums: Create forums that only selected membership groups can see and join, which suits subscription sites, educational platforms and other exclusive communities.
• Forum-level access control: Set permissions separately for each forum, category and sub-forum, so specific topics and discussions are limited to the member groups you choose.
• Flexible access levels: Give each SureMembers Access Group Read Only, Standard (read, post, reply) or custom permissions, matching member engagement to your site's needs.
• Access Groups override usergroups: SureMembers Access Groups take precedence over wpForo's default usergroup permissions, so members with an access group keep their forum rights whatever their usergroup settings.
• Multiple Access Groups: Assign forum permissions to any number of SureMembers Access Groups, which gives you control over who can view and take part in each forum.
• Setup in the forum editor: Assign access rights directly on wpForo's forum editing screen, so you can apply restrictions without leaving the place where you already manage forums.
• Default access dropdown: A dropdown menu sets the default forum access for all membership plans, which saves repeated changes when many plans share the same baseline.
• Responsive forum design: The addon works with wpForo's responsive forum layout, so restricted and open forums display properly on different devices.
