Plain text posts can feel flat, and standard WordPress emojis may not match the tone of your community. wpForo Emoticons adds a set of custom-designed emoticons and stickers made for wpForo, so members can show a reaction or a mood without writing it out. Up to 80 emoticons come in each color group, and six color variations let you pick a set that suits your forum's main theme.

Members insert emoticons from a button at the bottom right of the post editor. Admins work from the backend, where they can create and rename groups, adjust emoticon sizes, control visibility and upload their own images with custom names and codes. The add-on is built for wpForo and is kept compatible with current PHP releases, so it fits forums that want more personality in their discussions.
