Overview
Many stores ship orders without knowing whether the customer will be home or whether production can meet the date. WooCommerce Order Delivery moves that decision to checkout. Shoppers pick a preferred date and, where you offer them, a time slot such as 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Delivery ranges can follow the shipping method, for example an urgent option or an economic one, so expectations are clear from the start.
Behind the picker sit the controls that keep schedules realistic. You can cap deliveries per day or per time slot, set minimum production days, block holidays and other dates, and disable delivery for certain countries or regions. Extra fees can be added for chosen dates or slots. The plugin also works with WooCommerce Subscriptions, sends delivery details by email, and lets you sort orders by expected delivery date.
Features
- Delivery date and time picker: Customers select a preferred delivery date and time slot during checkout, so you dispatch orders when the delivery suits them.
- Custom delivery time slots: Split each delivery date into specific time frames, such as 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, to give shoppers clearer delivery windows.
- Ranges by shipping method: Define delivery periods for each shipping method, such as an urgent 24 hour option or an economic 2 to 3 day option.
- Order limits per day or slot: Set the maximum number of deliveries allowed per day or per time frame so your team is not given more than it can handle.
- Extra fees for chosen slots: Add a fee when customers select particular delivery dates or time slots, useful for premium or time-sensitive delivery choices.
- Holiday and location rules: Block local holidays and special dates, and disable delivery options for selected countries or regions to respect logistical or legal limits.
- Lead time management: Set minimum production days so customers can only choose delivery dates your store can realistically meet.
- Subscriptions and email details: Delivery dates are calculated for WooCommerce Subscriptions renewals, and delivery details go out in order confirmation emails and updates.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores that deliver on scheduled dates
- Shops with production lead times or daily delivery limits
- Stores selling subscriptions with recurring deliveries
