UsersWP Moderate User Registration

Open registration invites spam accounts and unwanted sign-ups, which is a problem for communities where trust matters. This add-on gives administrators control over who gets in. Every new registration waits for review, and the person who signed up is told their account is pending approval. Until an admin approves it, that user cannot log in.

Moderation is switched on with the Require admin review option in the UsersWP Form Builder. Pending users then appear on the WordPress Users page, where a dedicated moderation column lets you approve or reject them. Email alerts keep both admins and users informed. The add-on is translatable, so it fits sites in many languages, and it suits forums and other platforms that care about user quality.

Features

• Manual user approval: Approve or reject every new signup yourself, so only users you trust join your community and the user base stays clean.
• Require admin review setting: Turn on moderation with the Require admin review option inside the UsersWP Form Builder, with no technical setup beyond a single setting.
• Pending account notice: Users see a customizable moderation notice after registering, so they know their account is waiting for approval and are not left confused.
• Moderation column on Users page: Manage pending users from a dedicated column on the WordPress Users page, where you can approve or reject each account quickly.
• Email alerts for admins and users: Administrators and users receive email notifications at the main steps of the moderation process, which keeps communication clear on both sides.
• Login blocked until approval: Unapproved users cannot log in, which protects your site from spam accounts and unauthorized access while registrations are under review.
• Translation ready: The add-on is fully translatable, so you can present moderation messages in the language your members use.
