Ultimate Member - Verified Users

Community sites often have trouble showing which profiles belong to real, vetted people. Ultimate Member – Verified Users addresses this by letting members apply for verification from their accounts. Once an administrator approves a request, a blue badge appears on that member's profile and in the member directory, so other users can tell at a glance who has been checked.

The process stays in the hands of the site team. Admins review each request manually, and email notifications tell them when a new one arrives and tell members when their account is verified. It works with the Ultimate Member plugin and fits social networks, membership communities and professional directories where knowing who is who matters.

Features

• Member verification requests: Members can apply for account verification themselves, which gives your team a clear list of people who want a badge. They can also cancel a pending request at any time.
• Manual admin approval: Administrators approve or deny every request. Only the accounts you decide to accept receive the verified badge, so you set the standard for who qualifies.
• Blue verification badge: A blue badge shows on verified user profiles and in member directories, so visitors can recognize verified members without opening a profile.
• Directory sorting for verified members: Directory sorting options can place verified members first, which helps users reach trusted profiles more quickly when browsing the member list.
• Email notifications: Admins get an email when a new verification request comes in. Users get an email once their account has been verified, so both sides stay informed.
• Admin filtering on the users page: Filtering tools on the users page make it easy to find every account that is awaiting verification and work through the queue.
• Verification URL: Admins can add a direct link to the verification request page anywhere on the site, which gives members an easy route to start the process.
• Activity wall shortcode: A global activity wall shortcode displays verification-related activity anywhere on your site. It also works with Social Activity and the Ultimate Member notifications extension.
