Ultimate Member - Social Login

Registration forms put people off, and passwords are easy to forget. Ultimate Member – Social Login addresses both by adding social login buttons to your registration and login forms. Visitors choose a network they already use, such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn or X (formerly Twitter), and they are signed in without typing out their details by hand.

You decide how new accounts are created. A 1-step process registers returning social users automatically when sync fields are configured properly, while a 2-step process collects any required data before the account exists. The extension only imports essential user information and does not post to user accounts. Each network needs to be set up through its own developer platform.

Features

• Social login buttons: Add customizable social login buttons to your registration and login forms, giving users a quick way into your site with the accounts they already have.
• Choose your networks: Enable only the social networks that matter to your audience. Supported options include Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Discord, TwitchTV, GitHub and over 20 additional hidden providers.
• 2-step registration: Use the 2-step process to collect all required user data, so profiles are complete before an account is created.
• 1-step automatic registration: Returning social network users can register automatically in one step, provided the sync fields are configured properly.
• Connect and disconnect accounts: Users manage their linked social accounts directly from their profile page, and can connect or disconnect them whenever they choose.
• Profile photo sync: Pull profile photos from social networks so member profiles show familiar avatars from the start.
• Shortcodes for button placement: Display social login buttons anywhere on your site with customizable shortcodes, so they match your branding and layout.
• Privacy-minded data handling: The extension imports only essential user information and never posts to user accounts, in line with social network policies.
