myCred SMS Payments

On a site that runs myCred, points normally move through the website itself. This add-on adds a second route: a member sends a specially formatted text message and the plugin carries out the request. They can ask for their current balance or transfer points to another user, which suits communities, loyalty programs and reward systems where people are often on their phones.

Twilio provides the messaging layer, and the plugin works alongside the myCred Transfer add-on so existing transfer limits still apply. Administrators can send confirmation texts, give members a window to cancel a transfer, and customize the replies that go out. Transfers and cancellations are logged in myCred, so there is a record to review later.
