myCred Birthday Plus

Many community sites collect birthdays but never do anything with them. This plugin gives that profile data a job. It connects to the birthday field in your member profiles and, when a member's birthday arrives, it awards myCred points to their account. Because it is built for the myCred points system, the rewards land in the same balance members already use on your site.

The plugin works with BuddyPress profile fields and with custom user meta fields created through User Profile Builder, so it fits different profile setups. You can also set rewards by age, which lets you mark milestone birthdays with a different amount. It runs on single WordPress installs and on multisite networks, which suits both small communities and larger ones.

Features

• Automatic birthday points: Members receive myCred points on their birthday without any manual step. The plugin recognizes the date from the profile and awards the points to their account.
• BuddyPress compatibility: It connects to BuddyPress profile fields to read each member's birthday, so sites that already collect birthdays there can start rewarding members straight away.
• User Profile Builder support: Custom user meta fields created with User Profile Builder can supply the birthday data, which gives you flexibility for profile setups that do not use BuddyPress.
• Age-specific rewards: Set different point amounts based on a member's age. This makes it possible to celebrate milestone birthdays with larger or more targeted rewards.
• Direct link to profile fields: The plugin reads birthdays straight from user profile fields, so the awarding process is automatic and tied to the details each member has entered.
• Multisite support: Use it on a single WordPress site or across a multisite network. The same birthday rewards approach applies to either kind of setup.
• Built for myCred: The plugin is made for sites running the myCred points management system, so birthday rewards fit into the points your members already earn and spend.
• Clear documentation: Documentation accompanies the plugin, and setup needs minimal configuration, so you can get birthday rewards running without a long preparation process.
