GetPaid Digital Downloads

Selling files online means getting the file to the right person and keeping it from everyone else. This plugin handles both. You attach a digital file of any type to a product, and the buyer receives access once payment goes through. Files can also sit on external storage, so a third-party cloud service can host them if you prefer.

Buyers can reach their purchases from the payment confirmation page, from their invoices and from a My Downloads page. You decide how long links stay valid and how many times a file can be fetched. File URLs are hidden behind secure methods, and access can be limited to logged-in customers who bought the product. It works with the GetPaid core plugin, which it needs to run.

• Attach any file type: Add a digital file of any kind to a product, such as an ebook, a piece of software or a music track, and sell it through your GetPaid store.
• Several access points: Customers can open their files from the payment confirmation page, from their invoices, or from a personal My Downloads page, so they always have a way back to them.

• Protected file URLs: File locations are hidden behind secure methods like X-Accel-Redirect and X-Sendfile, which helps prevent unauthorized downloads and hotlinking.
• Logged-in buyers only: Restrict downloads to logged-in users who have purchased the product, so your files stay away from people who have not paid.
• Shortcode for purchases: Use the [getpaid_downloads] shortcode to show customers all of their purchased downloads on any page you choose.
• External storage links: Point a product to files hosted on third-party cloud services instead of keeping everything on your own server.
• Optional login-free downloads: Choose to let people download files without logging in, for products where an account is not needed.
