Overview
Service businesses often repeat the same admin work after every booking: confirming appointments, sending reminders, updating user roles and following up with clients. AutomatorWP – BookingPress moves that work into automations. It adds BookingPress triggers and an action to AutomatorWP, so a booking event can start a workflow without any code.
You build the workflows in AutomatorWP's builder, which supports conditional logic and multi-step automations. Because BookingPress becomes part of the wider AutomatorWP setup, bookings can also be connected with other plugins such as WooCommerce, LearnDash and BuddyPress. It fits salons, consultancies, fitness studios and other businesses that run on appointments.
Features
- Booking completed trigger: Start an automation when a user completes a booking, for example to send a follow-up message or move to the next step in a workflow.
- Appointment status triggers: Run workflows when an appointment is approved, set to pending or rejected, so each status change can prompt the right notice or task.
- Cancellation trigger: Set off an automation when a user cancels an appointment, which helps you handle follow-ups and keep your schedule current.
- Customer registration trigger: Trigger a workflow when a user is registered as a customer in BookingPress, such as assigning a user role.
- Cancel appointment action: Use an action that cancels an appointment as part of an automation, letting other events in your workflows change a booking.
- Customizable workflow builder: Create automation sequences that match your business logic, including reminders, notifications and status updates, with conditional logic and multi-step flows.
- Connects with other plugins: Pair BookingPress events with other plugins inside AutomatorWP, including WooCommerce, LearnDash and BuddyPress.
- No coding required: The controls are intuitive for users of all technical skill levels, so you can set up booking automations without writing code.
