myCred Points Cap

Any points program can run into trouble when a few users collect points far faster than everyone else. Balances inflate, rewards lose their meaning, and the community starts to feel uneven. myCred Points Cap addresses this by letting you set a maximum number of points a user can earn within a chosen period, so no one piles up points too quickly.

The plugin is built for WordPress sites that already use myCred. It works with existing myCred hooks, so your current reward rules stay in place while the caps apply on top of them. Shortcodes let you show earned points and current limits on any page, which helps users see where they stand. It runs on a single site or across a multisite network.

Features

• Customizable point limits: Set a maximum number of points users can earn within a period. This prevents over-accumulation and helps points keep their value in your rewards program.
• Flexible timeframes: Choose daily, weekly, monthly or lifetime limits, so the cap matches your site's engagement goals and the way your members actually use it.
• Shortcode support: Use shortcodes to display earned points and current caps anywhere on your site, keeping users informed about their progress toward the limit.
• Transparent user feedback: Users can see where they stand relative to the maximum they can earn, which builds trust and encourages them to keep participating.
• Works with myCred hooks: The add-on connects with existing myCred hooks, so you can apply caps to the reward rules you already use and build more flexible strategies.
• Single or multisite use: Manage the plugin on one WordPress site or across a multisite network, keeping rewards control consistent between all of your sites.
• Guided setup: The plugin is installed through the WordPress admin dashboard, with guided activation that gets your point cap system running with little configuration.
